Although the English consortium offered to incorporate it in a somewhat shorter term, that was not enough to clinch the victory. In the end, their best conditions, the Consortium proposed Line 1 train Lima was elected. This is committed to making an investment of U.S. $ 290 million, of which U.S. $ 200 million will go towards the purchase of 19 trains set in the contract.
A great day, no doubt, that closes a new phase of the process of getting a subway to Lima. Now, to know the trains are coming, and then prepare for the grand opening in July.
